The total cost for the entire project will be close to $650,000, this includes construction and contingencies plus cost of design, engineering and permitting.

YES, the park will be 100% free and open to the public from sun up to sun down.

As of October 2025, the group has raised $112,000 dollars through local fundraising and two grants. The current plan is to apply for a state RCO grant in spring 2026, which will provide the funds needed for construction. The grant requires a 30% match which means our group needs to raise close to $125,000 (once accounting for funds that can count towards the match).
